Privacy Policy
Luna & Sol Auto Detailing respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you submit a booking, cancellation waitlist, contact, or fleet form, we may collect your name, telephone number, email address, vehicle information and photos, service selections, condition information, preferred appointment details, service address, how you heard about the business, business information, and any notes you provide. Our hosting platform may also process basic technical and security information needed to operate the website.
Booking progress measurements
We record a random booking-attempt identifier, the steps reached, and whether a booking completed to find problems in our booking form. These measurements do not include the contact details, address, or vehicle information entered in the form.
Instant estimates
If you request an emailed estimate, we use your email and selected service details to send that estimate with a booking link. An estimate does not reserve an appointment.
How information is used
We use your information to respond to questions, prepare estimates, review service locations, schedule and provide detailing services, manage fleet inquiries, maintain business records, improve our service, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
Calls, texts, email, and reminders
By submitting a form, you authorize Luna & Sol to contact you about that specific inquiry or requested service using the contact method you provide. Confirmed appointments may generate calendar invitations, appointment reminders, a service follow-up, and a maintenance reminder related to that booking. We do not use the website forms to enroll you in unrelated automated marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply to texts.
Sharing and selling information
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help host and operate the website. When payments or invoices are enabled, Square processes payment and invoice information under its own privacy terms; Luna & Sol does not store full card numbers on this website. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or protecting our rights. Links to Google and social networks are governed by those companies’ own privacy policies.
Retention and security
We retain inquiries, uploaded vehicle photos, invoices, and service records for as long as reasonably needed for estimates, customer service, operations, recordkeeping, and legal purposes. Confirmed customers receive a private, hard-to-guess appointment-management link and should not share it. No online system can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable safeguards and limit photos and customer records to the private business inbox.
Automated service guide
The guided service selector uses your choices to display recommendations and published starting prices. When AI-assisted descriptions are enabled, the description you submit is sent to OpenAI to help match a service. Do not include contact details, addresses, or sensitive information in that description. We do not save these descriptions as customer records or use them to reserve appointments. If you choose to send a request to Luna & Sol, the contact details, selected service needs, and notes you submit are saved in our business inbox. We also keep short-lived usage counts with hashed network identifiers to limit automated abuse.
Your choices
You may request correction or deletion of information you submitted, subject to records we may need to retain. Contact us using the information below. You may also choose to call or text instead of using an online form.
Children and changes
This website is intended for people arranging vehicle services and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as our services change, and the effective date above will identify the current version.
